KidStreet Help Center
Counseling and therapy for children 12 and under.
According to the CDC, 1 in 6 U.S. children aged 2-8 have a diagnosed mental, behavioral, or developmental disorder. To assist with these issues for families in the church, the PRCC KidStreet ministry has created the KidStreet Help Center – a space specifically and purposefully dedicated to counseling children – led by Cynthia Parkes, Children's Minister and licensed mental health counselor. Cynthia's areas of experience and expertise include: grief, divorce recovery, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, and ADHD. Counseling will include prayer, scripture, and a biblical worldview.
This "therapy room" is located in the Upstreet children's space. Cynthia will be available to see 4-6 children ages 12 and under per week. Appointments are required. A detailed pre-counseling information form will need to be completed in advance.
We're confident God will use the Help Center to minister to children and ultimately to families. If you have questions or would like to set-up an appointment, contact Cynthia via email or call 317.898.4945, x111 and leave a message. Please download, print and complete the Client Information Form in advance. Due to time constraints as the Children's Minister, currently these free services are only available to families in the church.
